 IxonosCompany Announcement  Helsinki, Finland, 2011-04-19 08:00 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ixonos Plc        Stock Exchange Release          19 April 2011 at 9:00   IXONOS COMMENCES CO-OPERATION NEGOTIATIONS  Ixonos commences co-operation negotiations with its personnel for financial andproduction-related reasons and for those arising from reorganization ofoperations.   The goal of the negotiations is to adjust the company's cost structure to thedecelerated growth as well as to improve the company's ability to maintain thebest possible profitability.   Ixonos' entire personnel in Finland are in the scope of the negotiations, withthe exception of the personnel of Ixonos Business Solutions Ltd. Thenegotiations are estimated to impact no more than 100 people in the Group'shanding out, support functions, sales and service production. As part of thereorganization, the company plans to close down the production of mobile deviceR&D services in its offices in Salo and Turku.   Besides Finland, similar reorganization of operations and rationalizationprocedures are plotted to be carried out in Ixonos Group's foreignsubsidiaries.   In accordance with its strategy, Ixonos continues the activities to expand itsclientele by boosting sales of services and solutions to mobile technologysuppliers, mobile device manufacturers, consumer electronics manufacturers andother customers in commission in Finland and internationally.
