iXonos shows off 3D interface for Meego | Android Tablets ...
While I'm still not convinced that most "3D" interfaces offer any real advantages over the 2D interfaces we're all used to on our devices, they do tend to look pretty cool. If you're a Meego fan, you'll certainly want to take a look at the video from Netbooknews of an iXonos concept application which we demonstrated at IDF Bejing 2011.
The app is built around Sony's Crackle video service and displays movie "cases" (which oddly look more like Polaroid pictures) stacked on a virtual table. A stack can be tapped to cycle through available titles, and a long press pulls up a screengrab and what I'll take upon yourself is the title and synopsis (if you can read the text, feel free to right me). Take the jump to see the iXonos 3D interface in action!
